I have slimmed down to only the necessities with technology. I am on a brief return due to some family matters and needing to stay in touch. You are spot on about how much more simplified things have become. I never realized how much my reliance on technology (outside of my job and school) had actually created more stress. After this situation with family is under control I am taking more time off. My time with my wife has become more focused, my creativity with work is at an all time high, I'm reading more, thinking deeper, appreciating the small details again. Most of all my time with God has been amazing. I feel like Elijah when he was in the wilderness and God lead him to the mountain. There was wind, an earthquake, and fire... God was in none of those, but He was a still small voice (1 Kings 19:11-12). Most of the time we cant hear the Holy Spirit speaking through all the noise. I am learning more and more every day to "Be still and know that He is God" (Palms 46:10).
