Stories that Crumble

Stories have away of engaging us. Transporting us into the depths of one imagination. Sometimes, stories cannot be communicated in a traditional way. Sometimes stories are better off to be experienced. This visual story from Tokyo-based artist Ryo Shimizu is formed by using strokes borrowed from Chinese characters and then restructuring them into letters of the Roman alphabet. For me looking deeply into this, my intereptation is there are a lot of cultural traditions balanced between the relationship between history and modern society. Just amazing.
